The VIP X1600 Base System is the chassis of Bosch's modular high-performance IP video encoder system. It brings up to 16 analogue video channels onto the IP network — ideal for migrating analogue camera installations to IP video surveillance.
- Houses up to 4 independent encoder modules (4 channels each, 16 channels total — modules sold separately)
- Two 1 Gbps Ethernet ports (front + rear): alternative, redundant or cascaded use between units
- Up to 2 monitored power supply units for redundant power (PSU not included)
- Modules individually replaceable without interrupting other channels
- Compatible with VIP X1600 M4S (MPEG-4) and XFM4 (H.264) modules
